The cargo throughout of Shenzhen Chiwan Wharf Holding Limited in May 2007 reached 4.527 million tons, down 2.1% year-on-year. The cargo throughout in Chiwan and Mawan ports amounted to 452 thousand TEU, up 3.2% from a year earlier, among which, that of Chiwan port was 337 thousand TEU, decreasing 7.9%; and the bulk cargo throughout was 512 thousand tons, down 41.5%.

By the end of May 2007, the accumulated cargo throughout of the company was 23.616 million tons, up 16.4% year-on-year. Meanwhile, the accumulated container throughout of Chiwan and Mawan ports amounted to 2.318 million TEU, rising 18.6% from a year earlier. The accumulated container throughout in Chiwan port was 1.684 million TEU, up 0.9%; and the accumulated bulk cargo throughout was 2.875 million tons, down 12.9%.
