HUTCHISON Telecommunications International Ltd, the mobile-phone carrier controlled by Hong Kong's billionaire Li Ka-shing, posted a first-quarter profit after adding users in Israel and Indonesia.
Net income was HK$310 million (US$39.8 million), against a loss of HK$236 million a year earlier, Hutchison Telecom said yesterday. The Hong Kong-based company revised the HK$220 million profit it reported for the first quarter last year, without providing a reason.
