The International Metal Containers Manufacturing Technology Exhibition began its life from 2002. In every two years, the experts and enterprises from this field come together in Shanghai to exchange the new trend in the market and bring forth new innovations. In 2004, there were more than 8000 professional visitors who came from 17 countries visited this exhibition. Exhibits cover the whole metal containers production chain, such as aluminum and steel 2-piece,tinplate 3-piece cans for beverages and canned foods, metal small pails of 1-18L and 20-200L big barrels assorted, metal cans, lids and bases, caps, tubes and vessels, barrels and barrel seals; ink, paints, oil as well as auxiliary materials for metal containers etc.

The enlargement of exhibition area, the display of new innovations and the advent of world famous enterprises are the three highlights of this exhibition. It is estimated that the exhibition area will be more than 4000㎡ and over 120 enterprises home and abroad will come to Shanghai as exhibitors. More than one third of exhibition area was booked after the finish of last exhibition. The professional buyers who come from food, beverage, cosmetic, auto and medicine field etc. have registered to visit this exhibition.

In the meantime, there will be several workshops accompanying the exhibition, for example, the seminar for metal containers manufacturing technology, the conference of International Aerosol Liaison Committee, etc. These will make the exhibitors and visitors obtain more information and get to know famous experts and professional buyers.
