STONETECH 2006 SHANGHAI again showcased its marvels among 45,168 visitors. 812 companies from 28 nations took up the area of 49,000 square meters, rising by 28.9% comparing with its last edition. No exhibition in Asian area could have so deep influence in stone circles like Stonetech thanks to 13-year noticeable growing.

It is known that the stone consumption volume in China has ranked the first worldwide as a result of the boost in building industry. The top exhibiting nations are Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Spain, Egypt, and Morocco. Italy and Spain expand their net exhibiting spaces up to 550 square meters, keeping a steady momentum at STONETECH 2006 SHANGHAI.

Expolink (Egyptian Exporters Association) succeeded in expanding the Egyptian pavilion to 282 square meters, while Moroccan national pavilion (organized by Moroccan Centre for Export Promotion-CMPE) tripled its size to 222 square meters with the hope to get even more market shares in the next step. “Some companies may have some problems when they come back to our nation, because big orders in China that we received at Stonetech may challenge their productivities. Here, our companies get what they wanted. We will bring more enterprises to STONETECH 2007 BEIJING”, Mr. Bachid Belarbi, head of department from CMPE added. It is the first time CMPE exhibited at Stonetech.
