Cippe is held every April in Beijing known as the premier exhibition in the petroleum and petrochemical industries in China and has 6 successful events in a row. The Sixth China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Exhibition which held on April, 3-5, 2006, get an attendance of 531 famous companies participation from 31 countries and regions around the world, including 21 of the top 500 Global corporations, such as GE, Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Tyco, 3M, Hamilton-Sundstrand, Elliott Company, Cummins Power Generation, Waukesha Engine Dresser Inc, Atlas Copco, SDMO, Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial, Cooper, Phoenix Contact Electric, and some famous Chinese companies: CNOOC, RG Petro-Machinery, Chuanyou Guanghan Honghua, Beijing Petroleum Machinery Factory, 3H (Shanghai) Petroleum Equipment, China Electric Equipment Group, Warom Group, etc. Cippe has been the largest and premier petroleum and petrochemical exhibition in Asia.

According to the data from the organizer, during this event ,the professional visitors arrived 23,000 from 42 countries. The overseas visitors are from America, Germany, UK, Italy, French, Russia, Canada, Brazil, Danmark, Norway, Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, UAE, Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia, China, etc. 42 countries and areas. Some of domestic visitors are from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangdong, Xinjiang, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, Shanxi and other relevant petroleum and petrochemical companies.
