According to the fair organizer Shenzhen Herong Exhibition Industrial Co., Ltd, many overseas delegations have confirmed their participation in the CIOE. These include South Korea, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, France and Italy. A group of large-scale domestic enterprises from Shenzhen will be grouped and exhibited under the Shenzhen Nanshan High-tech Enterprises Pavilion. They will showcase China's most advanced optoelectronic technology in aerospace and military fields.

Meanwhile, the show will also feature the China Optoelectronic Industry Conference. The conference will introduce different forums focusing on hot topics in optical communication, laser, optical manufacturing and detection, optical displays, and more.

The CIOE will be co-located with the China International Solar-energy & Photovoltaic Application Expo. Visitors can see the latest technological expertise in optoelectronics as well as solar energy.

In the previous edition, the fair featured over 1,600 exhibitors and over 2,600 booths. More than 62,000 visitors attended the four-day event. Fair organizer Shenzhen Herong Exhibition Industrial Co., Ltd claims that the fair is the world's largest exhibition for optoelectronics.

Global Sources will be at the show with its own booth to promote the company's total sourcing solution consisting of print, online and face-to-face sourcing channels for buyers and suppliers. The booth will also conduct early registration for the China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components, which takes place October 12-15, 2007 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
