On behalf of the Organizing Committee Chinese Pharmaceutical Association is delighted and honored to welcome you to CIPTC in one of the most fantastic city, Shanghai, in 2007. We will work tirelessly to ensure to invite renowned pharmaceutical scientists to this top event to ensure excellence in programme quality.
The conference program is designed to update pharmaceutical scientists on the latest technologies in developing controlled release products. Topics to be covered in detail include overview of controlled release development, mathematical modeling for product design, regulatory aspects of controlled release, material selection including a discussion of the availability of new polymer materials, and an in-depth discussion of the latest technologies for developing and manufacturing controlled release products. Each topic will include lectures from experts in the field followed by discussion groups in which participants are encouraged to participate, and where the participants’ cases and problems can be addressed.
Day one of the program is designed to provide an overview of controlled release including the most recent and future developments in the area of controlled release dosage forms. Day Two is designed to give a more in-depth discussion of formulation design of controlled release products including strategies and models for dosage form design. The objective for Day Three is to provide insight into, and discussion of, polymers and manufacturing equipment used for developing controlled release products. After viewing the vendor presentations of their equipment, the attendees will participate in a discussion of the manufacturing process for oral controlled release products. The Final Day of the conference will be devoted to presentations designed to give the audience an understanding of the regulatory aspects that are important for oral controlled release products.
