Organized by China Pet Product Association, CCPIT Pudong Sub-Council, CCOIT Pudong Chamber of Commerce and Hongkong International Exhibition Co.,Ltd and co-organized by Shanghai Chaowei Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., 2007 CHINA PET SHOW (SHANGHAI) was supported by American Consulate Shanghai, JETRO Shanghai and other 50 chambers and associations. More than 200 enterprises participated and around 26800 visitors domestic and overseas visited the exhibition. The total show area was up to 12000 square meters.
With the rapid growth of China's economy and improvement of people's living, pets have been well received by the people,which leads to a quick expansion of pet product market. It is estimated that the sales volume of pet products amounted to RMB6.8 hundred million before 2008.
It is expected that about 300 well-known manufacturers will participate in 2008 CHINA PET SHOW (SHANGHAI) and the total show area will be up to 16000 square meters. It is sure that the exhibition will turn out to be an ideal platform for the exchanges between suppliers and demanders. April 5, 2008 will witness a grand gathering of manufacturers and buyers from over 10 countries and regions.
Promotion: A. Pet shops, supermarkets, pet beauty shops, pet clubs and so on will be invited to the exhibition. B. Ads and reports will appear on more than 30 overseas media. 28 websites will closely report the exhibition. 80000 admission tickets and 30000 invitations will be distributed by the organizers and supporters. C. 20000 invitations will be sent to the professionals domestic and overseas. D. Show ads will be put on the outdoors ad boards, newspapers, trade journals, TV stations, broadcast stations as well as websites. Press media will be invited extensively for on-site coverage of the show. E. Show directories will be distributed free of charge to the visitors so as to further publicize the exhibition. F. Some forums and seminars will be held concurrently with the show to discuss and find the solutions to the marketing problems. G. Set up cooperation with some big websites to open online shows to widespread the show info and attract more visitors. H. Help exhibitors invite the targeted visitors and establish the relationship of sales agency.
