Singapore instant coffee maker Super Coffeemix and China Lifestyle, which makes jelly desserts and marshmallows, are set to announce a $100 million joint venture, a source close to the deal said.

"They will enter a joint venture to explore the Chinese market," the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Both firms requested a halt in trading in their shares with effect from market open on Friday 9 a.m. (0100 GMT), pending an announcement.
