Taiwan's Uni-President plans to become the largest food and beverage group in Asia outside Japan within three years through aggressive expansion in China and India.

The company – Taiwan's largest food conglomerate and the number two branded food group in China after compatriot Tingyi – is seeking to buy companies in India and is evaluating more targets in China.
