Prices for LCD TVs in the China market recently fell to a new low and quotes for 32-inch LCD TV have dropped below 5,000 yuan (US$629) during the end of August while prices for the 37-inch segment fell below 8,000 yuan.

The price of 42-inch LCD TVs was also priced below 10,000 yuan by the end of August. With a long holiday in China approaching in early October, prices for LCD TVs will continue to decrease.
