Nobel Biocare, the world's biggest dental implant maker, has established a subsidiary in China.

It also said in a statement it had signed letters of intent on strategic collaboration with five major Chinese universities, including the two largest dental schools.

"China is potentially the largest dental market in the world. We are entering this fast growing market with great determination and focus," Heliane Canepa, Nobel Biocare's CEO said.
