Chinese fruit juice producer Huiyuan Juice Group has agreed a 100 million yuan (USD 12.5 million) distribution deal with retail giant Wal-Mart.

Under the agreement, Huiyuan will provide fruit juice to more than 3,000 Wal-Mart outlets across the US for a year.

According to Chinese press reports, Huiyuan, which caters for about 42% of China's domestic fruit juice market, entered the US in 2004, but this is the first time the firm has secured such a large contract.
