A handsome young model lies lazily on a bed in the middle of the Oriental Plaza. A McDonald's breakfast sits on a table next to the bed.

This was a performance art activity organized by McDonald's to promote its breakfast packages. The fast food restaurant was launching its American-style breakfast complete with pancakes and syrup, fried egg, crisp potato cake, pork steak and two pieces of bread. Seasonings include strawberry sauce, black pepper and salt. The breakfast also includes coffee and milk tea.

McDonald's have opened more than 790 restaurants across China since it opened its first outlet in 1990 in Shenzhen.
