DBS Bank (China) Ltd and Hang Seng Bank (China) Ltd said yesterday they have received approval from the China Banking Regulatory Commission to offer yuan products and services to local Chinese residents.

The two banks incorporated locally earlier this year. Hang Seng will launch the broader range of yuan services in Shanghai in September.
