ING Capital Life, ING's insurance joint venture with Beijing Capital Group, said it has opened its Henan Branch for business. ING Capital Life is the first Sino-foreign joint venture to begin operations in the province.

The license will also allow ING to apply to the local Henan insurance regulator to open sales and marketing offices across the province, enabling ING Capital Life to sell insurance products to about 100 million people.
