With the successful ending of 1st Yantai International Wine Festival, Yantai becomes more and more famous in the wine industry.

On September 27, Yantai and OIV held a round table meeting to celebrate their cooperation for 20 years and discuss Yantai's wine industry development.

At that time, Yantai's deputy mayor voiced that Yantai will apply for hosting 2011 World Grape and Wine Convention. Yantai is not only the largest original place of wine industry and wine production region in China, but also the only wine international city in Asia. Besides Changyu and Dynasty such famosu domestic brands located in Yantai, many foreign wineries plunged funds in Yantai to set up factories to produce wine, such as French, Italy, Spanish, Canada and America.

They believed that Yantai enabled to host a successful Wolrd Grape and Wine Convention in 2011. By that time, Yantai will expand its effect of wine in the world and attribute its strength  to China's wine industry.
