There were 24.62 million subscribers of digital cable TV services in China as of the end of the fourth quarter of 2007, growing by 16.7% from a quarter earlier, according to China-based consulting company Analysys International.
There were 3.50 million CAS (conditional access system) cards issued to new subscribers of digital cable TV in the fourth quarter of last year, with Beijing Novel-Tongfang Digital TV Technology being the largest supplier, Analysys indicated.
