GUANGDONG (International) Hotel Management Holdings Ltd, a leading Chinese mainland hotel operator and so far the only hotel management firm on the Chinese mainland which runs properties in Hong Kong and Macau, opened its fourth up-market hotel in Shanghai yesterday.

The opening was part of efforts to further accelerate its business expansion in East China. The Jilin Provincial Government has invested nearly 300 million yuan (US$42 million) into the 308-room Ambassador Hotel.
