HSBC Holdings Plc, Europe's biggest bank by value, said more than two-thirds of the small- and medium-size businesses in Hong Kong are unaffected by the slowing United States economy, as they have expanded into Asia.
Of the 500 such companies surveyed by HSBC in April, 73 percent of those with business interests in the Chinese mainland said that demand for their products has either remained constant or increased from a year earlier, the bank said.
