Lite-On Technology, a Taiwan-based maker of LED lighting and electronics devices, has reportedly entered the all-in-one PC OEM market and is working aggressively to gain orders from players such as Lenovo, according to market sources.
Although the company sold its display department to Wistron, since its PC department is still operating, the company is leaving related design to the department.
Market watchers have estimated that global all-in-one PC shipments will reach 5-10 million units in 2010 and will account for 5-10% of total desktop PC shipments.
