Sigurd Microelectronics, which mainly tests consumer and PC system ICs, saw its net profits for the second quarter of 2010 grow 56% sequentially to NT$364 million (US$11.4 million), or NT$1.16 per share, on consolidated revenues of NT$1.33 billion.
For the first half of 2010, net profits totaled NT$598 million, translating into an EPS of NT$1.92.
Sigurd said that sales contributed by its non-Taiwan based customers have been growing since the beginning of the third quarter and that overall sales should increase substantially on a yearly basis.
