Equipment makers Mirle Automation, Csun Manufacturing and All Ring Tech enjoyed another record sales in September 2010, thanks to rising demand from the panel and green energy sectors. Revenues for the third quarter also climbed to the highest for the year, according to data released by the companies.

Mirle saw third-quarter revenues grow 8.7% sequentially to NT$1.4 billion (US$46 million), buoyed by orders for automated logistics systems placed from the panel and solar industries. September revenues rose 7.2% on month to NT$490 million, exceeding the company's estimate of NT$410-450 million.

Mirle accumulated NT$3.74 billion in revenues from January to September, up 67.6% from the same period of 2009. The company currently has order commitments worth NT$3.4 billion, with order visibility reaching the second quarter of 2011.

Csun saw its consolidated revenues continue to hit a new high for the third consecutive month in September. Consolidated sales for the third quarter amounted to NT$1.18 billion, up 37.2% on quarter.

Csun mainly produces equipment used in the production of PCBs and panels, and has stepped into making equipment for the production of solar cells. The company has landed several new orders for PV manufacturing equipment with shipments kicking off in the fourth quarter.

Driven by rising shipments of products for IC packaging and LED backend production, All Ring saw its revenues climb 25.8% sequentially to NT$405 million in the third quarter. Revenues for September hit an all-time high of NT$155 million.

In addition, All Ring is expected to secure new orders for passive component manufacturing equipment from Japan-based Murata Manufacturing, Taiyo Yuden and Kyocera in the first quarter of 2011. The orders will help lift the company's gross margins.
