TPV-Inventa Technology, an all-in-one PC joint venture of Inventec and TPV Technology, has recently cut into Hewlett-Packard's (HP's) all-in-one PC supply chain, sharing orders from HP's two other suppliers Pegatron Technology and Quanta Computer, according to Digitimes Research.
Digitimes Research expects TPV-Inventa to ship 900,000 all-in-one PCs in 2010 and 1.5 million units in 2011, and as the company landed orders from HP, the company should have no trouble achieving the volume in 2011.
TPV-Inventa is currently mainly shipping its all-in-one PCs to Lenovo and a small portion of orders to Toshiba and regional brands. Micro-Star International (MSI) also recently placed some all-in-one PC orders with the company.
For 2011, Quanta is expected to be the largest all-in-one PC maker, with Pegatron the second and TPV-Inventa at the third, according to Digitimes Research senior analyst Joanne Chien.
