Solar system installer Win Win Precision Technology plans to submit an application to list on Taiwan's over-the-counter (OTC) market in the first quarter of 2011, according to the company. Win Win revealed that in the first three quarters of 2010, the company installed 40.6MWp of solar systems compared with 22.8MWp for the whole of 2009.
For the first half of 2010, Win Win posted NT$2.291 billion (US$76.161 million) in revenues compared with NT$2.367 billion for the entire 2009. First-half net profit came to NT$163 million or NT$6.24 a share.
The solar system installation market will be driven by price, said company chairman Davis Chen. With solar cell and module quotes for the rest of 2010 undetermined, the company has yet to set pricing strategies for 2011, he noted.
Win Win targets Europe markets through two own brands, Winergy and Winaico. In the first three quarters of 2010, the company has installed 659 small-scale projects for 29.8MWp and five solar farms.
