Gemtek Technology, a Taiwan-based maker of networking/communication equipment, on November 8 reported unaudited consolidated revenues of NT$2.207 billion (US$71.4 million) for October, the second consecutive record monthly total for the company.
The record sales were due to orders for new products and from new clients, and monthly consolidated revenues may hit records in November and December, Gemtek pointed out. Orders from telecom carriers are expected to account for more than 60% of fourth-quarter consolidated revenues, Gemtek indicated.
Alpha Networks, a Taiwan-based fellow maker, has also reported October consolidated revenues.
