CCL (copper clad laminate) maker Iteq has registered NT$1.67 billion (US$55.3 million) in October consolidated revenues, up 1.8% from September. Fellow company Elite Materials (EMC) saw consolidated sales decline 7.6% over the same period, posting NT$1.05 billion for October.
Iteq stated that October's performance was in line with its guidance due to better-than-expected sales during the national holidays in China. For the first 10 months of 2010, revenues totaled NT$16.75 billion, increasing 69.13% from a year earlier.
Iteq posted net profits of NT$412 million in the third quarter, bringing net profits for the three quarters of the year to NT$1.254 billion, which translated into an EPS of NT$4.57.
EMC recorded revenues of NT$11.22 billion in the first 10 months of the year, up 37.75% from a year earlier. Net profits reached NT$912 million in the first three quarters, translating into an EPS of NT$3.22.
Another CCL maker Taiwan Union Technology Corporation (TUC) posted net profits of NT$352 million, or NT$1.51 per share, for the first three quarters of 2010.
