Office rents up - ResearchInChina

GRADE-A office rents continued to rise in Shanghai in October with several areas in Puxi registering notable month-on-month growth, according to a latest research unveiled by Shanghai Centaline Property Consultants Ltd.

Average rent climbed 1.84 percent on a monthly basis to 7.74 yuan (US$1.16) per square meter per day in October, with People's Square and Nanjing Road W. areas seeing the most growth, by 5.8 percent and 2.8 percent. Demand from multinational firms remained robust with buildings in non-prime locations also benefiting with stable rents.
