Taiwan-based battery module makers Simplo Technology, Dynapack International Technology and Celxpert Energy have posted mixed results for their November 2010 revenues.
Simplo has announced revenues of NT$3.7 billion (US$122.6 million) for November, a new historical high with an on-month increase of 7.3%, while combined revenues from January to November reached NT$35.28 billion, up 12.9% on year. Since the company achieved more than 70% of its fourth-quarter revenues goal in October and November combined, the company is confident about reaching its target; however, the company pointed out that the product prices, exchange rate fluctuations and costs may affect its gross margins.
Dynapack saw NT$1.69 billion in November revenues, growing 16.08% on month and 19.77% on year. Combined revenues for the first 11 months reached NT$16.27 billion, up 14.01% on year. In addition to stable notebook orders from US clients, tablet PC orders also helped boost its sales; however, because tablet PC average prices are still rather low, the company expects to see some pressure over its profitability.
Celxpert saw its November revenues drop 17.9% on month and 9.02% on year to only NT$662 million; however, the company's combined revenues from the first 11 months grew 8.65% on year and reached NT$8.45 billion.
