Arima Communications has posted November consolidated revenues of NT$2.81 billion (US$93.12 million), up 3.3% sequentially and 143% on year. For the first 11 months of 2010, revenues amounted to NT$17.36 billion, increasing 19.7% from a year earlier. Rival Compal Communications saw November revenues decline 4% sequentially and 43.1% on year to NT$1.46 billion.

Compal's accumulated revenues for the January-November period totaled NT$13.22 billion, a decline of 41.73% from a year earlier.

Arima shipped over two million handsets each month in October and November, and is expected to ship 1.5 million units in December, according to an estimate by industry sources, who also noted that Arima's total handset shipments in 2010 are likely to reach 16 million units.
