Benefiting from strong orders, Taiwan-based notebook maker Quanta Computer is expected to see its notebook shipments rise to 4.6 million units in January 2010, while fellow competitor Compal Electronics will see its shipments reach 4.2 million units, according to a Chinese-language Apple Daily report citing market watchers as saying.
Meanwhile, Wistron is expected to see shipments of 2.55 million notebooks in January, Inventec 1.25 million units and Pegatron 1.1 million units.
