Testing solution provider Chroma Ate has seen sales to green technology sectors, including solar energy, LED and electric cars, climb to account for 27% of total revenues in the first three quarters of 2010. The ratio is expected to top 30% for all of 2010 and further climb to 35% in 2011, according to the company.
The company has also reportedly landed 2011 orders for solar energy testing equipment from two clients in China that will help boost revenues from the green energy sector.
Chroma Ate has posted net profits of NT$1.52 billion (US$50.87 million) for the first three quarters of 2010, up 192% from a year earlier. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$4.25 for the nine-month period.
