LCD driver IC firm Ilitek scheduled for TSE listing - ResearchInChina

LCD driver IC design house ILI Technology (Ilitek) is scheduled to debut on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) before the Lunar New Year holidays, at the earliest, with a planned listing price of NT$61 (US$2.05), according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report. The company reportedly will issue 5.7 million shares of common stock to raise up to NT$350 million.

Ilitek has clarified via a company filing with the TSE that it is not the source of the report. Neither the listing schedule nor price has been set, the company added.

Ilitek is currently traded on Taiwan's Emerging Stock Board (ESB). Its shares closed at NT$89 on December 22, up NT$1.10.

Ilitek reported net profits of NT$242 million, or NT$4.71 a share, for the first three quarters of 2010. It accumulated NT$5.26 billion in revenues from January through November, up 43.5% from the same period of 2009.

Ilitek specializes in small-size panel driver ICs for handsets and digital cameras. Major shareholders include Powerchip Technology and Chimei Innolux (formerly Innolux Display).
