THE volume of exports and imports from January to November in China's Tibet Autonomous Region has reached US$693 million.
The figure is up 94 percent year on year, which makes Tibet No. 1 in trade growth rate among China's provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
Border trade surged 97.2 percent annually and manufacturing exports rose 67.9 percent, which contributed to the rocketing growth rate, Padma Choling, chairman of the region, said on Saturday at the annual economic work conference.
