Shuttle shipped more than one million notebooks in 2010 and expects 2011 shipments to increase by over 20%, according to the company.
Shuttle in 2010 successfully landed ODM orders for notebooks from all its target clients, mostly regional vendors in emerging markets, the company pointed out.
In addition, Shuttle began shipments of tablet PCs in the fourth quarter of 2010 and has obtained good market response, with shipments expected to account for 30% of the total shipment volume for notebook and tablet PCs in the first quarter of 2011, the company indicated.
At Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011, Shuttle showcased many tablet PC models and offered Build to Request total solutions for customized production of notebook, tablet, all-in-one and netbook PCs, with a choice of LCD screens, operating systems, structure and chassis design, peripherals and key components available for choice, the company pointed out.
