Taiwan-based notebook battery makers Simplo Technology, Dynapack International Technology and Celxpert Energy have all reported on-month drop in December 2010 revenues mainly due to seasonality.

Simplo announced revenues of NT$3.11 billion (US$106.31 million) in December, down 16.1% on month, while Dynapack saw its revenues drop 9.9% on month to NT$1.52 billion and Celxpert drop 34.26% to only NT$435 million.

The market watchers believe Celxpert's dropping monthly performance in the fourth quarter 2010 was mainly caused by the company's Dynapack-merger plan, which caused its clients to hesitate from placing orders, but since the plan has already been canceled, Celxpert should start seeing its sales performance recovering in the second half of 2011 after the company reorganize in the first.

However, despite seeing quarterly sales drop in the fourth quarter, all three makers saw their 2010 consolidated revenues increasing on year. Simplo had NT$38.38 billion, while Dynapack had NT$17.8 billion and Celxpert had NT$8.89 billion.
