Delta Electronics has posted consolidated revenues of NT$14.54 billion (US$496.34 million) for December, down 10% sequentially but up 17% on year.

Consolidated revenues for the whole year totaled NT$171.3 billion, up 36% compared to NT$125.51 billion for 2009.

Of the December revenues, 51% came from power supplies, 19% from components, 5% from display solutions, 6% from industrial automation and 19% from others.

Consolidated revenues for the fourth quarter of 2010 totaled NT$45.91 billion, down about 6% sequentially, but the drop was not as deep previously thought.

Delta indicated that industrial automation, photovoltaic (PV) inverter and LED businesses will have the most significant growth in 2011, and the traditional weak season in the first quarter of 2011 will see better-than-expected demand, despite weak demand for consumer electronics (CEs). Delta does not expect to be affected by labor shortages as the company has increased the wages for its workers.
