IC material distributor Niching Industrial saw revenues climb to a record of NT$1.49 billion (US$51 million) in 2010. The company credited the result to strong demand for products used in the production of high-end PCBs, and rising orders for LCD driver ICs.

Looking into 2011, Niching forecast revenues will grow by 20-30% to hit another record-high level.

Niching's revenues slid 15% on month to NT$128 million in December, affected by year-end inventory adjustment at customers, the company said. December revenues showed a 4% increase compared to the NT$124 million posted in December 2009, the company added.

Niching generated revenues of NT$389 million in the fourth quarter of 2010, up 21% on year.

Niching mainly distributes semiconductor materials, components and equipment, including front-end, backend and PV manufacturing tools.
