YUM! Brands Inc has opened its first Pizza Hut restaurant in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, to cement its business in the inland cities.

The world's largest restaurant company also plans to invest 30 million yuan (US$4.54 million) in Lanzhou in the next two years. The new outlet is Pizza Hut's 500th store in China.
