Taiwan-based EMS provider Pegatron Technology expects its revenues to grow at relatively high rates beginning 2011, according to company chairman Tung Tsu-hsien.
Since its spin-off from Asustek Computer two years ago , Pegatron has been an ODM maker of iPhone, Acer notebook PCs, tablet PCs offered by Toshiba, Sony and other vendors.
Apart from growth in shipments of notebook and tablet PCs, Pegatron expects shipments of TVs, communication devices and e-book readers in 2011 to increase significantly from 2010, Tung indicated.
To reflect increased component, material and labor costs, Pegatron will base its quotes for new orders on exchange rates of NT$29-30 and CNY6.30-6.50 against the US dollar, Tung pointed out.
