Taiwan-based mobile telecom carrier Vibo Telecom has launched the S7, a customized tablet PC produced by China-based Huawei Device (a subsidiary of Huawei Technologies), for contract sales at NT$7,990 (US$272) plus a monthly rate of NT$992, according to Chinese-language Commercial Times.
The S7, in addition to mobile access to the Internet, features voice communication, Wi-Fi, e-book reading functions and multimedia entertainment, the paper said, adding Vibo plans to launch a total of 10 tablet PC models in 2011.
