PCB maker Global Brands Manufacture (GBM) has posted revenues of NT$3.17 billion (US$108.49 million) for January 2011, down 1% in NT dollar terms but up 4.4% in US dollar terms sequentially.

February revenues will decline slightly compared to January's level due to reduced work days but will swing back to the growth track in March, said company president Peter Chu.

GBM also reported net profits of NT$625 million for 2010, translating into an EPS of NT$1.37 for the year.

However, fellow company CMK GBM, a joint venture set up by GBM and a Japan-based company in Dongguan, China, still posted a loss of NT$360 million in fiscal 2010, said Chu, noting that CMK GBM is expected to break even in March.

GBM will develop new PCBs for HDDs and telematics devices in 2011 in addition to maintaining a steady supply to its existing clients in the motherboard and notebook sectors, Chu said.

GBM expects its revenues to grow 10% to NT$40 billion in 2011 with a gross margin higher than the 7.58% recorded in 2010, while net profits are likely to increase over 65% on year.
