Taiwan-based connector maker Cvilux announced consolidated revenues of NT$186 million (US$6.35 million) for January 2011, up 9.47% on month and 9.27% on year.

Cvilux pointed out that the growth in January revenues was mainly because of its clients delaying their orders from December.

Cvilux also pointed out that the company will follow its notebook clients and invest in Chongqing, China. The company will initially rent existing plants, while establishing its own plants. The rented plants will start having capacity come online in the first half of 2011 with the company's own plants to start contributing capacity in the second half.
