Microelectronics Technology sees 2010 operation in NT$156 million net loss - ResearchInChina

Microelectronics Technology (MTI), which makes mobile and satellite communication/networking equipment, has reported a net loss of NT$156 million (US$4.9 million) for 2010 operation.

The Taiwan-based company posted revenues of NT$8.112 billion, gross margin of 16.30%, net operating loss of NT$184 million, and net loss per share of NT$0.38 in 2010.

Of the 2010 revenues, 43% came from sales of PAs (power amplifiers) and RRHs (remote radio heads) used in mobile communication base stations, followed by LNBs (low noise block-converters) with 31%, radio communication equipment with 12%, VSATs (very small aperture terminal) used in satellite communication with 10% and others with 4%, MTI said.
