AOpen teams up with Philips to tap North American digital signage market - ResearchInChina

AOpen has teamed up with Philips to tap into the digital signage market in North America, with the Dutch-based company responsible for displays and AOpen handling the production of digital engines and other peripherals.

The two companies have jointly developed the digital signage market in Europe since 2010 and decided to expand the partnership into North America.

The AOpen-Philips team will showcase its digital signage solutions at the Digital Signage Expo 2011 to be held in Las Vegas in May, according to AOpen.

Sales of digital signage products account for 100% and 70-80% of AOpen's total revenues generated in North America and Europe, respectively, according to industry sources.
