Qisda's February consolidated revenues dropped 30.77% sequentially to NT$5.617 billion (US$190 million) mainly because Lunar New Year in the month resulted in fewer working days, according to the company.

The February consolidated revenues also slipped on year by 0.26% and the January-February figure of NT$13.730 billion rose by 11.05% from the same period of 2010.

Qisda expects to ship nearly four million LCD monitors and 250,000-260,000 projectors in first-quarter 2011, decreasing 5% and increasing 7-8% sequentially, the company indicated.

Market analysts expect Qisda's first-quarter consolidated revenues to fall sequentially by about 10% to NT$21.5-22 billion.
