Chimei Innolux (CMI) is exhibiting 23.6- to 65-inch 3D TV panels based on active shutter glasses technology at FPD China 2011 taking place in Shanghai March 15-17, according to the company.

Compared with patterned retarder - another 3D technology - active shutter glasses technology has the advantage of higher resolution and lower energy consumption, CMI said, adding it is also showcasing touch panels and manufacturing technologies, energy-saving panels and AMOLED panels.
