AOpen will invest US$3.5 million to relocate its factory from Zhongshan City, southern China, to an optoelectronics park developed by Wistron also in Zhongshan, according to AOpen.
AOpen and Wistron are both part of the Wistron Group. AOpen's factory in Zhongshan produces mini-PCs used to drive digital signage, and the relocation is to expand production capacity to enhance AOpen's competitiveness, the company said.
AOpen has released its audited 2010 financial report and its board of directors has decided to not distribute a dividend.
