Sales of AOC, a brand and business unit of TPV Technology, increased significantly by 58% on year in the fourth quarter of 2010 in the Asia Pacific (not include Japan) market and shipped 2.04 million units of LCD monitor with 19.6% market share, according to AOC citing data from IDC.

AOC will focus on expanding its channel retails worldwide to over 100 countries and expects to become the leading vendor for monitor in five years.

In Taiwan LCD monitor market, Asustek Computer is in the leading position with 24% market share and around 460,000 units in shipments, followed by Acer with an 18% share and Chimei with 15% share.

AOC remains at the leading position in Philippines market for several years and continue to stay at top with 34.2% market share in the fourth quarter of 2010.
