Acer on March 25 announced a downward adjustment for on-quarter growth in its PC revenues for the first quarter of 2011 from 3% originally to a 10% decrease mainly due to relatively weak demand in Western Europe and the US.
Acer also expects its PC shipments in the second quarter to be approximately flat sequentially.
Acer began to ship tablet PCs in March and will launch several new models in the second quarter.
